Installing Items
AboutAs of version 1.2, Unsanityª Echo can automatically install plugins, engines, and skins as they are downloaded from the internet thanks to the fabulous abilities of the Stuffit Engine from Aladdin Systems.
Doing it
When a file for Unsanityª Echo is downloaded off the internet, the last for characters of the file name should be ".xep." After the file is done downloading, it will present a dialog box similar to the one shown below. Simply select the item(s) wanting to be installed and click the install button. Unsanityª Echo will automatically extract the file, put it in the correct folder, and, in some cases, refresh Unsanityª Echo's memory so the files can be used without restarting.
Note: Do not install components that have the word "Carbon" in their name unless Unsanityª Echo is running on a Mac OS X system. Similarly, only install files containing the word "Carbon" on Mac OS X systems. This does not apply to skins.

Making Packages
To make an Unsanityª Echo package, create a new folder in the finder and drag all the components in it that need to be installed. If some sort of instructions need to be included, make a SimpleText files called "Read Me" (lower-case and upper-case matter) in the folder. After the item to be distributed is organized in a folder, drag the entire folder on top of the Unsanity™ Sitter application icon.
If any files or folders need to be installed in special folders, create a SimpleText document called "Install Script" containing file/folder names and the special folders they belong in.
WhiteCap can serve as an example. The WhiteCap plugins requires a special folder called "WhiteCap Configs" to be in the same folder as it. In order for this to work, create a file called "Installer Rules" and put the following text in it:
"WhiteCap Configs" -> WhiteCap
The first argument, in quotes, is the name of the file or folder to be installed. The second argument directly after the "->" is the Unsanityª Echo file included with the archive the file/folder before the "->" belongs to. In this case, the WhiteCap Configs folder belong to the file called "WhiteCap" and will be install the same location.
Note: If the file/folder on either side of the "->" has a space in it, it must be enclosed in quotes.
